This case is designed to house both a 3'x5' flag and its accompanying certificate or medals above, with the two display areas separated by a solid wood divider. There is room to display the certificate either horizontally (as shown in photo) or vertically if needed. We build this case in two thicknesses...a 3" which best fits the thicker folding U.S. cotton flags...and a 2.5" which gives a better fit for the thinner folding nylon flags. While I can't speculate for all state flags, customers wishing to display a 3'x5" cotton TEXAS flag will find that a 2.5" case will work just fine.

The natural color of CHERRY is much lighter than most people realize. It will darken a bit with age, especially in the first year, and it is a beautiful wood. It is not a "dark" wood though. We don't usually produce Natural Cherry cases unless we have cherry lumber with sufficient color or grain to yeild exceptionally beautiful cases. As such, we don't produce as many Cherry cases with a Natural finish as we do with a dyed finish.
