Can these cases be hung on the wall?
YES. Each case comes with appropriate hanging hardware to mount it on the wall. In fact, wall hanging would be the preferable method to display all of these cases, except perhaps the Tri Flag Displays....I think the triangular shape of these cases looks best when it is sitting on a table, shelf, or mantle, but hangers do come with the Tri Flag Cases as well.
Do you build custom orders?
For many years we have been happy to build custom sizes.......however we are no longer accepting any orders for any cases not already in inventory.
Are any other woods available?
We currently offer all of our cases in Southern Red Oak, American Black Walnut, Aromatic Cedar, and American Black Cherry. The Oak and the Cherry are both offerred in either a natural or a dyed finish. Many of our styles are also available in Weathered Wood which is usually old Cedar or Pine. We can and occasionally do build cases from a few other woods such as Quartersawn White Oak, Redheart Pecan, Mesquite, and Padauk. Prices will vary depending on the species. Feel free to inquire about specific woods if you have an interest in one.
How do you mount items inside the case?
There is no need to "mount" most items inside our cases. They are designed to gently hold most items securely between the soft foam interior and the double strength glass with a very minimum amount of pressure. This is why we use multiple layers of foam and offer different thicknesses of cases...so that the proper thickness can be achieved to give your item a suspended appearance. Of course there are a few items that may still need to be "mounted". Such items include bolt action rifles, swords with thick hand guards, and fragile freestanding items such as figurines. We can help you with the best way to display such items whether it be with supporting pegs, shelves, or some other solution.
Do you offer discounts for larger quantity orders?
The prices that you see on the website ARE the WHOLESALE PRICES be it for 1 or for 100. If we could turn a dial on a machine and make it spit out a 100 cases it might be feasible to offer quanity discounts. However, each case is handcrafted here in the USA and quite frankly, there's a lot of work to it. Add to that property taxes, increasing utility costs, increasing material costs, packaging, fuel, advertising, etc....and the profit margin starts to get a little thin. We believe that the high quality of our cases at the price we offer them make them a great value. We think you will too.
